Established in 1911 in Sydney by Lawrence Sanders when he migrated from Birmingham, where the family roots in the jewellery trade reach back a further three generations to William John Sanders in 1860.
Lawrence was joined by his son Leonard in 1946, and in turn by his son Mark in 1967. It was Mark who brought the design flair to the business, becoming a five times winner of the de Beers Diamond Facets design awards in 1987, 1989 & 1997.
Mark’s design philosophy is “simplicity with a difference is the essence of timeless design”.
He is never one to embrace fashion fads, and believes that design trends have to justify their use. This is particularly so in his client’s personal, treasured jewellery pieces.

When planning a visit to Lawrence Sanders jewellers we recommend you phone ahead to confirm our business hours and to make an appointment if necessary. Our usual trading days are Tuesdays through Saturdays.
